June, the month that kicks off summer. It's an ideal month to visit the Côte d'Azur: it's not yet too hot, tourists haven't yet stormed its beaches and hiking trails, and there are plenty of events on offer! If you're lucky enough to live on the French Riviera, or come here on holiday, in June you'll be spoilt for choice: open-air concerts in iconic locations, dancing, horse-riding, sport. There really is something for everyone. And it's off!
HANDI VTT 06
Tanneron / Mandelieu-la-Napoule -June 2nd
Living on the Côte d’Azur offers disabled people at least one advantage: magnificent landscapes in which to enjoy their favourite sport. As part of the Handisport Adapté 06 programme, the Alpes-Maritimes département and the Comité handisport06 are organising the second edition of the Handi VTT 06 week.
The FTT is a « mountain bike » for people with disabilities. It can be used on downhill trails, but can also be used on flat or hilly terrain.
If you live on the Côte d’Azur, whether on your own, with your family or with friends, mountain biking gives you the feeling of freedom, while enjoying the natural surroundings of the Alpes Maritimes.
On 02 June 2024, an outing through the spectacular scenery of our region is planned. From Mandelieu-la-Napoule in the Alpes Maritimes to Tanneron in the Pays de Fayence. A sporting half-day in contact with nature between the Alpes Maritimes and the Var!
BOCCA CABANA CUP
Cannes – June 1st and 2nd, 2024
Do you live in Cannes? Do you enjoy all forms of swimming in the Mediterranean? Then this 5e edition of the Bocca Cabana Cup is for you!
The Bocca Cabana Cup is organised by the Cercle des Nageurs de Cannes, in collaboration with the City of Cannes, the CAPL, the French Swimming Federation and EDF, with the support of the Alpes-Maritimes Departmental Council. This is one of the stages of the EDF AquaChallenge 2024, which is very familiar to people living on the Côte d’Azur.
Open water swimming races open to the general public. And there’s a new event, the NAGE DES FOUS, for swimmers with a big heart! There will also be plenty of festive entertainment.

Antibes -June 6-9, 2024
Those who live on the Côte d’Azur and love street performances will not be left out!
Have you heard of the Avignon Festival? Well, Antibes has done the same thing, but for the street arts! Déantibulations is the only street arts festival on the Côte d’Azur! It’s an effervescent celebration of the performing arts as they unfold in the streets of the bustling town of Antibes.
What happens in Antibes from 6 to 9 June 2024?
It’s quite simple: the streets of the Cité des Remparts are transformed into a huge theatre where acrobats, jugglers, musicians and circus performers plunge the people of Antibes and those who live on the Côte d’Azur into a zany and joyous universe!

Linking the historic heritage of Èze Village with classical music: that’s what the L’Èze Harmonies festival is all about.
As well as showcasing some of the great names in classical music, this festival takes you to some exceptional venues, including the Exotic Garden and the Château de la Chèvre d’Or.

The Côte d’Azur capital will host the cauldron lighting ceremony at the end of the day.

NUITS CARRÉES FESTIVAL

From 27 to 29 June 2024 we return to Antibes to enjoy a musical event that young people living on the Côte d’Azur know well: the Nuits Carrées Festival.
The 18e edition of the Nuits Carrée remains true to its DNA: a line-up of top names and new discoveries, great value for money and the spotlight on a site that is part of the Côte d’Azur’s historic heritage, the Fort Carré, a former military fort built during the reign of Henry II in the 16th century.
Hip-hop, rap, Baile funk, Afro pop… We dance, we sing, we drink, in a great atmosphere! That’s life on the Côte d’Azur!

Those who live on the Côte d’Azur, whether expats or native Azureans, are well acquainted with Juan-les-Pins, one of the hot spots for jazz thanks to the Jazz à Juan event held in July.
But there’s another event to enjoy in Antibes-Juan-les-Pins: the Bull Padel Show 06.
An exceptional event welcoming 4 of the best padel players in the world, as well as some of the biggest names in the sport and personalities!
The teams will be competing in the heart of La Pinède in Juan-les-Pins, a padel court that can accommodate up to 2,000 spectators.
Three memorable matches are on the programme:
The « Artists » match: comedian Redouane Bougheraba VS paddleboard player Alix Collombon and host Cartman VS Nice tennis player Alizée Cornet.
The « Legends » match: former basketball player Tony Parker + former footballer Ludovic Giuly VS world champion Robert Pirès + former French international footballer Eric Abidal.
