For the past two years Patrick and his family lived abroad, calling the south of France home – first living in Antibes for a year, then in Nice for a year.
Patrick kept a painting studio in both Antibes (downtown Juan les Pins) and then in the port area of Nice where he would work and interact with the community.
The Gills traveled extensively throughout Europe making memories and friends along the way. Patrick and his family current reside in Denver, Colorado.
Traci & Mark are part-time residents of the Washington, DC suburbs with a second home in Montauroux in the Var.
Mark was born to a French mother and American father stationed in Fontainebleau and lived in France for much of his youth before leaving for the DC area for university in his early twenties.
Traci’s early years in Ohio were spent near the Canadian border watching Sesame Street and The Muppets in French, instilling a lifelong of all things Français.
As they started dreaming of their retirement years, they began looking for a place to reconnect to Mark’s family and decided to make the Riviera region their forever home.
They have five adult children, five grandchildren, two granddogs, a grandcat, a grand bearded lizard, a flock of grandchickens, and a grandrooster named Rusty.
